Software Developer

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our IT team on a temporary contract. This role involves developing, maintaining, and modernizing software applications while collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate has experience with both legacy systems and modern development frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications using C#/.NET and VB.NET.
• Work with SQL Server for queries, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Apply Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, refactoring patterns, and design patterns.
• Build web applications and APIs using ASP.NET Core MVC/API.
• Use EF Core or Dapper for data access.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and use tools like Moq.
• Participate in DevOps processes using Azure DevOps.
• Assist with legacy modernization efforts.
• Document work and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications:

• Expert in C#/.NET and WinForms internals.
• Experience with .NET 6+ / 8 and VB.NET.
• Strong SQL Server skills.
• Experience with Clean Architecture, SOLID, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with ASP.NET Core MVC/API development.
• Experience with EF Core or Dapper.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps.
• Strong testing experience (unit, integration, Moq).
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
