Responsibilities

• Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing to ensure pristine turf conditions.
• Use hand tools and power tools such as trimmers, blowers, edgers, and lawn mowers to maintain landscapes effectively.
• Assist with landscape installation projects including planting, mulching, and hardscape setup to enhance outdoor aesthetics.
• Conduct routine maintenance of equipment like mowers, excavators, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Support tree care activities such as pruning, trimming, and planting to promote healthy growth.
• Implement seasonal tasks including snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe.
• Help with irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure efficient watering of lawns and gardens.
• Collaborate with team members on landscape design projects involving gardening, horticulture practices, and construction tasks.
• Follow safety protocols diligently while operating machinery or handling landscaping materials.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and report any issues or equipment needs promptly.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping machinery and hand tools safely.
• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred but not required; training provided for motivated learners.
• Familiarity with landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and horticultural practices.
• Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, mowers, excavators, and other construction equipment confidently.
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and planting to support healthy growth.
• Basic understanding of irrigation systems for installation and troubleshooting purposes.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; capable of standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and operating machinery for extended periods.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to snow plowing, hardscape construction, or advanced landscaping techniques is a plus.
