Role Overview We are seeking a Learning and Development Consultant with expertise in designing and delivering training programs under the COJG framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, facilitation, and adult learning methodologies. This role requires a strategic thinker who can assess organizational needs, develop tailored training programs, and ensure businesses receive maximum benefit from COJG funding.
- Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver COJG-eligible training programs aligned with business and workforce development needs.
- Consult with clients to assess training needs and create customized learning solutions.
- Guide organizations through the COJG application process, ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
- Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, both virtual and in-person.
- Utilize a variety of instructional methods, including workshops, e-learning, and coaching.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
- Stay updated on COJG regulations and best practices to optimize training initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to integrate learning solutions into broader talent strategies.
- Qualifications & Experience7+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or corporate training.
- Experience working with COJG-funded training programs is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to design and deliver customized leadership, technical, and soft skills training.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and facilitation techniques.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital learning tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fractional/consulting capacity.
