Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical practices and procedures, along with the ability to provide exceptional patient service. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care in an outpatient setting. The Technician will be responsible for monitoring vital signs, supervise with patient during exercise session, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience during outpatient visits.
- Apply body mechanics principles to assist patients safely during examinations and treatments.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Intergy system, ensuring that all patient information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Exercise Techs often work in busy fitness centers or healthcare settings, requiring adaptability and efficiency.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, vital signs, medical terminology, and body mechanics.
- Experience in patient monitoring and assessment within an outpatient setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with EKG procedures is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding patient service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
