About

Our client, a growing local construction company, has an immediate need for a controller. The controller will report directly to the CFO and will be primarily responsible for general ledger maintenance and producing financial statements. This company has cultivated a close-knit, family-like environment where every team member feels valued and supported. In business for over 30 years, the company has seen consistent growth and provides a strong foundation of stability, with opportunities for personal and professional growth. Duties include: Accounts payable. AIA billing. Construction draws. Bank account reconciliation. Job costing. Month end and year end close. Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements. Other duties as assigned. Candidates for the controller position should have a minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with some experience being in a construction company. A bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred but not required.
