Restaurant Team Member

Overview
We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and motivated individual to join our Subway team as a Sandwich Artist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, following recipes, food safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and welcoming restaurant environment.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their dining experience
• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order entry and cash handling
• Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote specials or new offerings
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring food safety compliance
• Handle cash transactions accurately while managing register operations efficiently
• Support food safety protocols by following sanitation guidelines and proper food handling procedures
• Assist in food prep tasks in the kitchen or café area to ensure timely service during busy hours
• Engage with customers to answer questions, take orders, and provide excellent customer service
• Support team members by sharing responsibilities such as food prep, cashiering, and cleaning

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a restaurant or grocery store setting
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.50 - $11.25 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
