Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to support the daily functions of our organization. This role is essential in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining high standards of service, and assisting in the implementation of strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of operational processes across various departments.
Duties
- Assist the Operations Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing daily business activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Support the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with different departments to facilitate effective communication and workflow.
- Manage inventory levels, procurement processes, and supply chain logistics as needed.
- Lead or participate in staff training sessions to promote best practices and compliance with company standards.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly, escalating complex problems to senior management when necessary.
- Support project management initiatives, including scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking progress toward goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in operations management or a related field; prior supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make informed decisions based on operational metrics.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with operational software systems.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.

Pay: From $22.23 per hour
Expected hours: 34 per week
