Windows Systems Administrator (TS Required)

Location: Patuxent River, MD (On-site / Limited Hybrid)
Clearance: Active Top Secret required at time of application

Before you apply

This role requires an active Top Secret clearance, 3+ years of hands-on Windows system administration, and a DoD 8140 compliant certification such as Security+. If you do not meet all three, this position will not be a fit due to contractional requirements.

Role overview

We are seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to support Navy / DoD systems in a controlled, security-focused environment. This role is operational and hands-on, supporting production systems under formal change control, patch cycles, and compliance requirements.

Required experience (non-negotiable)

• Active Top Secret clearance (no sponsorship, no exceptions)
• 3+ years of Windows system administration in an enterprise or DoD environment
• Ability to work on-site in a secure environment (Pax River NAS)
• Certification requirement DoD 8140 / CSWF-approved certifications (ONE of the following)
• CompTIA Security+ (preferred)
• SSCP
• CySA+

Desired Experience

• Windows Server 2016–2022
• Active Directory user and group management
• Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
• Patch management (WSUS, SCCM, or equivalent)
• System hardening and troubleshooting
• Experience operating under STIGs, ACAS, RMF, or ATO processes
• VMware or virtualized Windows environments
• Prior Navy or NAVAIR program experience
• Exposure to Linux systems in a mixed environment

Pay: $90, $120,000.00 per year
