JOB SUMMARY:
The Training Coordinator will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and management of training programs for all credit union staff. This role ensures that all employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively, maintain compliance, and foster a positive member experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Develop and deliver training programs related to credit union policies, products, services, compliance, and industry best practices.
Ø Coordinate and schedule training sessions for staff across various departments.
Ø Assist in the creation of training materials, manuals, and online resources.
Ø Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance metrics.
Ø Ensure that all staff receive necessary training on compliance topics such as financial regulations, anti-money laundering (AML), and data security.
Ø Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance reviews.
Ø Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and develop tailored training solutions.
Ø Maintain records of completed training programs and certifications for all employees.
Ø Organize ongoing development opportunities, including workshops, webinars, and certifications.
Ø Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies to enhance training content and delivery.
Ø Ensure training programs align with the credit union's goals and values.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ø Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Ø 1 - 2 years of experience in training, learning and development, or related roles, preferably in a financial services or credit union environment.
Ø Knowledge of financial products, services, and regulations (such as NCUA, BSA, AML) is a plus.
Ø Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.
Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Ø Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Ø Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ø Office environment with occasional travel to branch locations.
Ø Full-time position, requiring occasional evening or weekend work as required.
