Senior QA Engineer

NOTE: This is a remote working position based in the UK

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer experienced in software API testing to join our Engineering team. You will be working with our QA team to maintain high quality Applications and SDKs. This position is ideal for a candidate looking for a fast paced, dynamic work environment with the personal connection and flexibility of working for a global company with headquarters located in Silicon Valley.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for manual and automated test design, execution, and reporting.
• Analyze functional requirements including use cases and creating associated test plans.
• Maintain and expand the existing automation test framework, write and implement automation scripts in Python.
• Perform tests for backwards compatibility, as well as positive and negative testing
• Reporting and Verification of defects.

• Contribute feedback to engineering regarding quality and testability considerations

• Good software quality assurance experience with multiple programming technologies, including Java, Json, XML/XSLT/WSDL, Web Service

• Ideally have experience as an API/SDK tester
• Work experience using a scripting language is a must (preferably Python)
• Experience working in a Linux development environment
• Troubleshooting skills in both black-box and white-box testing
• Must be able to understand requirements and design the test plans
• Knowledge of authorization and authentication frameworks.
• Good experience in test automation.
