Experienced Carpenter

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry disciplines, including framing, trim, and cabinetry, with the ability to work efficiently on diverse projects such as remodeling, restoration, and new construction. This role requires proficiency with hand tools, power tools, blueprint reading, and a solid understanding of construction site safety standards. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality craftsmanship across multiple industries, including residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Perform framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and siding work with precision and attention to detail
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project plans accurately
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing materials
• Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, fixtures, and hardware in accordance with project requirements
• Assist with metal stud framing, drywall installation, flooring laying (tile or wood), and other related tasks
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope

Skills

• Proven experience in construction
• Strong knowledge of carpentry disciplines including framing (wooden and metal), trim work, cabinetry, roofing, siding, and drywall finishing
• Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws)
• Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, plastering/stucco application, metal stud framing, and flooring installation
• Familiarity with restoration industry practices such as mold remediation and water damage restoration
• Skilled in fixture installation including doors and cabinetry; experience in remodeling projects preferred
• Heavy lifting capability required; physical stamina for long days on-site in various weather conditions
