Dental Assistant – Full Time

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated professional team player and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in a busy General Dental Office of over 30 years. This role is for an individual who has a passion for delivering excellent patient service and can multitask.
Four Day Work Week: Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 7:30am-4pm and Thursday 10:30am-7pm.
At least one year of experience is preferred but will consider training a motivated individual with similar experience in another field.
Duties
- Greet and check-in patients efficiently and professionally
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using practice management software
- Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical histories
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Support billing processes by verifying insurance coverage and processing payments as needed
- Ensure the waiting area remains clean, welcoming, and organized
- Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow throughout the day
Experience
- Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of administrative support procedures is highly desirable
- Office experience demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems or practice management software is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism

Schedule

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
