Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivery and stocking of goods to local grocery stores. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism. Team member is responsible for ordering, separating and loading products on truck as needed at our South Logan warehouse for delivery and placement on shelves. Typical day starts around 5 am and finishes around 1 . (Approx 8 hr work days) Schedule varies by day based on stores and service needed. Stores serviced on this route include North Logan Walmart, Smithfield Lees, Richmond Lees and Stokes Preston. Truck provided. A separate merchandiser is also provided as assistance at the North Logan Walmart 5 days a week. This is an opportunity to be your own boss.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks as necessary.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
• Assist in warehouse duties when not on the road, including inventory management and organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Phone and handheld electronics used for delivering product.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Job requires lifting, moving and driving. Applicant should be able bodied for such needs.
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics operations.
• Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation skills to optimize delivery efficiency.
