As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics hub. Your responsibilities will span receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. This role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workplace. You will be expected to handle various types of merchandise, operate equipment safely, and contribute to meeting daily operational goals. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Store inventory in designated locations using proper methods.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and checks.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety.
- Utilize all required PPE at all times.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Must be able to perform manual Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute positively to the overall Logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of Safety best practices is essential.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.
