Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders and pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders with appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Verify order details and quantities against shipping labels.
- Operate hand-held scanners to track inventory movements.
- Stage packed orders for shipment, ensuring proper routing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding areas.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Must be comfortable with frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles within a logistics setting.
- Must wear designated PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality in all tasks.
