This vital role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, ensuring smooth logistics operations, and minimizing stock discrepancies. You will be instrumental in implementing and refining inventory management processes, conducting regular audits, and identifying areas for improvement. The ideal candidate possesses a sharp analytical mind, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all inventory control activities.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve all inventory variances promptly and accurately.
- Maintain precise inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels, identify aging inventory, and recommend disposition.
- Develop and implement improved inventory control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and Safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory accuracy, variances, and adjustments.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to enhance inventory flow.
- Train new team members on inventory control procedures.
- Manage the proper use of PPE and ensure adherence to all Safety protocols.
- Support initiatives to optimize warehouse space and efficiency, including managing Lifting requirements.
Proven experience in inventory control, preferably in a logistics or warehouse setting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency in WMS and other inventory management software. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Solid understanding of Safety best practices. Physical capability for tasks involving Lifting and warehouse movement.
