Our dynamic fulfillment center in Grand Rapids, Michigan is looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our logistics team. This is a fast-paced role where accuracy and efficiency are paramount. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. You'll play a direct role in ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Verify picked items against order details to minimize errors.
- Operate hand-held scanning devices to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and protocols.
- Wear appropriate PPE as required by the job function.
- Perform moderate Lifting of items up to the specified weight limit.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics and fulfillment processes.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or damaged items.
- Participate in team goals and warehouse initiatives.
Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred. Ability to read and interpret order forms. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform moderate Lifting for extended periods. Familiarity with scanning technology is a plus. Commitment to Safety and efficient work practices. Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
