Job Summary:
Our Cincinnati, Ohio distribution center is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our inventory. This critical role ensures that stock levels are precise, minimizing discrepancies and optimizing warehouse efficiency. You will be instrumental in implementing and refining inventory control processes, working closely with operational teams to uphold data integrity within our logistics framework. A strong emphasis is placed on adherence to all safety standards, and the correct utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) is required. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for accuracy, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS and other relevant systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify trends, and report on stock status.
  • Develop and implement improvements to inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of inventory.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and staff to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and guidelines.
  • Prepare inventory reports and documentation for management.
  • Properly use and maintain required PPE .

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain logistics .
  • Ability to perform tasks involving moderate lifting .
  • Knowledge of and commitment to warehouse safety protocols.
  • Must wear and properly use all required PPE .
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
