Join our bustling warehouse in San Antonio, Texas, as a Picker/Packer! We're searching for enthusiastic individuals to accurately pick customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This role is essential to our logistics and fulfillment process, ensuring our customers receive their desired items quickly and correctly. You'll be part of a dedicated team working to meet daily order targets in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages for shipment, ensuring all information is correct.
- Operate pallet jacks and other light warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and guidelines, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- This position requires a lot of walking, standing, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to perform lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and item numbers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Familiarity with general logistics is helpful.
- Must be available to work various shifts, including weekends and occasional overtime.
