About

We are looking for a proactive and organized
Sales Coordinator
to be the first point of contact for customer enquiries. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth customer journey by responding to queries efficiently, processing orders, and being a key member of the existing high‑performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Processing quotations and orders – Preparing and sending quotations to customers, ensuring all details are accurate. Processing stock orders efficiently and managing them through to completion.
Following up on quotes and tracking orders – Proactively following up with customers on outstanding quotes to increase conversion rates. Keeping customers updated on lead times, order statuses, and expected delivery schedules.
Handling website enquiries and incoming phone calls – Acting as the first point of contact for customers, responding promptly to all website enquiries and answering calls in a professional and helpful manner. Providing information, resolving initial concerns, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Coordinating with internal teams – Working closely with sales, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction. Liaising with logistics to track shipments and resolve delivery issues promptly.
Utilising CRM – Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and orders using Pipedrive (or another CRM system). Ensuring all sales data is up to date and assisting with reporting where necessary.
Providing product information and support – Developing a strong understanding of the full product range, including bespoke options and lead times. Offering accurate and informed responses to customer queries.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or order processing is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and friendly approach.
Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle inbound and outbound calls confidently, professionally, and efficiently.
Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and resolve queries effectively.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads effectively.
High attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders, data entry, and documentation.
Proficiency in CRM systems such as Pipedrive, along with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Ability to work proactively, problem‑solve, and take initiative in a fast‑paced environment.
Team player mindset, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
Pay - £25,000 - £27,000 per year.
