Job Description My client is working at the heart of the UK's energy industry, driving innovation and delivery across major Power Grid projects nationwide. As part of their Electrical Engineering team, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of Transmission and Distribution networks - working on critical infrastructure projects that keep the lights on across the UK.
You'll collaborate closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams, sometimes from client sites and sometimes from one of their modern offices. Building strong, trusted relationships will be central to your success, as will your ability to understand client needs and help convert opportunities into successful project outcomes.
The Role
Lead and support FEED and detailed design work for major transmission-scale projects.
Actively contribute to business development, identifying opportunities and supporting strategic growth.
Prepare bids and proposals, including technical input, resource planning, and cost estimation.
Work closely with commercial and project management teams to develop competitive, client-focused solutions.
Provide guidance and training to junior engineers.
Coordinate só with other disciplines (Primary, Civil & Structural, PM), sub-contractors and suppliers.
Attend site visits, FAT and SAT as required.
