About
Produce and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts using AutoCAD Electrical
Design and document 24V DC power distribution and communication systems including serial, fibre, coax, and networking components
Support the integration of electrical and electronic subsystems on a marine platform
Collaborate with engineering teams and project stakeholders to manage design changes and resolve technical ambiguities
Ensure all designs align with relevant marine standards and regulatory compliance
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback efficiently
Qualifications
HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
Completion of formal AutoCAD Electrical training preferred
Essential skills
AutoCad Electrical
Marine Experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical
Strong understanding of 24V DC systems
Experience with communications infrastructure (serial, fibre, coax, Ethernet)
Ability to interpret incomplete design data and resolve ambiguities independently
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Comfortable working in a fast-changing project environment
Experience
Experience with systems integration in marine or defense / naval projects
Familiarity with classification society rules and maritime electrical standards
