About the Opportunity We're offering you the unique opportunity to influence the strategic direction of the UK’s largest consumer finance provider. You will lead the team to optimise individual customer pricing across our four brands - Lloyds, Halifax, BoS and MBNA - via our own and third-party digital channels, delivering fair value for customers and ensuring responsible lending within risk appetite.
Our Performance Analytics teamยะ delivers high quality data and analytics capabilities to support and shape the commercial performance and strategic goals of the Loans business. As the Head of Performance Analytics, you will provide actional insight to optimise our commercial performance, pricing and proposition development, and customer loan demand within our channels and journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high‑performing Performance Analytics team, setting stretch objectives, giving constructive feedback and coaching.
Serve as the technical powerhouse of the teamências, bringing deep expertise in customer analytics, data tools, automation and visualisation to deliver high‑quality outputs.
Design, build and maintain databases and data warehouses for efficient storage and retrieval of structured and unstructured data.
Champion data quality, governance and responsible data use, ensuring outputs are reliable, ethical and aligned with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with Technical Engineers, Product Owners and Solution Architects to understand data flows and manage the effective production of high‑quality outputs.
What You’ll Need
Background in data science, analytics, reporting or modelling.
Strong people‑leadership and interpersonal skills – inspiring, empowering_issue inclusive team cultures and providing coaching.
Intellectually and analytically curious – unafraid to challenge the status quo and innovate quickly from setbacks.
Technical and analytical expertise – proficiency in AI, Python, SQL, SAS, Power BI, Tableau and experience with cloud‑based data platforms (e.g. GCP მაინ).
Data insights and storytelling – translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support operational and strategic goals.
Excellent communication and influencing skills – able to present at all levels, including Managing Director level.
