About
Join our growing team as a Material Handler in our state-of-the-art facility in Sacramento, California. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving the movement and management of materials throughout the facility. You will be responsible for ensuring that materials are in the right place at the right time, supporting production and shipping departments. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and move incoming materials and products.
- Stage materials for production, shipping, or other warehouse functions.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of cargo.
- Perform regular checks on equipment to ensure operational readiness and Safety.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety concerns.
- Follow all established Safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 60 lbs) regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety regulations.
- Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Logistics environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Willingness to use all required PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be a team player with good communication skills.
