We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Miami, Florida. This role is critical to the efficient flow of goods through our facility, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Your commitment to operational excellence and maintaining a safe work environment will be highly valued. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming inventory, verify quantities, and inspect for damage.
- Stock shelves and storage locations accurately and efficiently.
- Pick customer orders using scanning technology or pick lists.
- Pack orders with care, ensuring proper materials and labeling.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles.
- Commitment to Safety first culture.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays if required.
