Join our growing team as a Distribution Center Associate in Omaha, Nebraska! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods within our distribution center. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks, including receiving and stocking merchandise, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for shipment. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe and orderly work environment. Compliance with all Safety regulations and the proper use of PPE are mandatory. This is a physically active position that requires regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs, extended periods of standing, walking, and operating basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick items for orders using scanners and pick lists.
- Pack orders with care and efficiency for shipment.
- Stock received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts.
- Support overall logistics efficiency through diligent task completion.
- Contribute to a positive and cooperative team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent standing, walking, and Lifting.
- Commitment to adhering to Safety protocols and using PPE.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
