Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our bustling warehouse in Austin, Texas. This role is vital for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments, playing a key part in our supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly work environment. You will be responsible for verifying, documenting, and preparing shipments, managing inventory flow, and ensuring all packages meet shipping standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies and report any issues.
  • Accurately document all incoming and outgoing inventory movements.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products according to specifications.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies safely.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and cycle counts.
  • Ensure that all shipping and receiving areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and utilize required PPE .
  • Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
  • Support overall warehouse logistics by assisting with other tasks as needed.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including **Lifting** up to 45 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting deadlines.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
