Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against shipping documents.
- Stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations, maintaining organization and accessibility.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders based on order sheets or electronic systems.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and staging.
- Operate various warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock adjustments.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily logistics goals.
- Must possess the ability to perform lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is highly valued.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as required.
