Job Summary:
Seeking a motivated Order Picker for our Richmond, Virginia facility. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, focusing on the accurate and timely retrieval of products to fulfill customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will navigate the warehouse efficiently, locate specified items, and prepare them for the next stage of the shipping process. Success in this role requires physical stamina, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Experience with RF scanners and a background in warehouse environments are beneficial. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse locations using pick lists or scanners.
  • Verify item numbers and quantities against orders.
  • Stage picked items in designated areas for packing.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
  • Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items encountered.
  • Follow all warehouse Safety rules and regulations.
  • Wear all required PPE at all times.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts as directed.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding order status or issues.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently.
  • Good reading skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
  • Must be committed to Safety and follow instructions carefully.
