About the Role
At Morgan Sindall Construction we are passionate about removing inefficiencies and giving our team the tools they need to be the best. We have started a journey to improve one of our core system Site Information Management Systems (SIMS) and are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our dynamic team and work with the business to make the development programme a success. Contract: 18‑month fixed‑term contract (FTC), Full Time, 37.5 hours per week. Role: Participant of Business IT team, working alongside a Programme Manager, Business Analysts and Solutions Architects. Responsibilities
Develop and manage project plans for re‑developing SIMS platform. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, working in an agile manner to achieve key business objectives. Engage with stakeholders at all levels, conduct active dependency and resource management. Influence business decisions and ensure critical technological and business dependencies are considered. Lead project teams to deliver key components ensuring transformation to development activity. Manage project activities in a hybrid environment (home most of the time, office when required). Qualifications
Credible experience delivering projects as part of a programme, from small‑scale process changes to large, complex technical initiatives including system and data improvements. Strong relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders; proven leadership of a project team. Clear and effective communication and reporting between Projects and Programme, internal stakeholders, IT and 3rd party vendors. Ability to identify risks and dependencies in a fast‑moving environment, manage multiple projects within budget and resource constraints, and drive quality standards. Project management qualification (e.g., APM Practitioner, PRINCE2). Agile Project Management certification or experience in agile environment is an advantage. Benefits
