Description

Clean Harbors Fort McMurray, AB is looking for Class 1 Drivers & Operators to join their safety conscious team You will be responsible for safely operating, driving, and maintaining various industrial services equipment but not limited to High Pressure, or Super B Units.

This is a 21/14 rotation, with the 362 Teamsters Union, full rates starting at $37.17/hour.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Attends daily safety meetings and ensure all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner;
  • Drives, operates and stages various units (i.e. High Pressure, or Super B Units);
  • Performs pre and post trip inspections including maintenance of equipment and general repairs;
  • Communicates with dispatcher
  • Works in confined spaces such as vessels and tanks and may transport hazardous goods;
  • Works as part of a team with Customer, Co-workers & Supervisors.  
Qualifications
  • Class 1 Driver's license required; with the ability to operate a manual transmission up to 18 speeds;
  • Minimum of one (1) year driving and operating the following units:  High Pressure and Super B.
  • Experience with hydrovac and combo units an asset 
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment;
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended period of time.
