We’re working with a large UK organisation that is strengthening its network and cyber security capability as part of a wider IT transformation programme. They’re looking for an experienced Network & Security Manager to take ownership of network resilience, cyber risk, and incident response across a complex, multi-site environment. This is a hands-on leadership role with real responsibility for security posture, supplier management, and continuous improvement. What you’ll be doing * Owning the organisation’s network and cyber security landscape, including risk management and incident response * Leading and improving network architecture, security controls, and monitoring * Working closely with internal IT teams, senior stakeholders, and third-party suppliers * Driving security improvements in line with regulatory and compliance requirements * Supporting delivery of a broader IT strategy focused on modernisation, flexibility, and resilience What they’re looking for * Strong experience across enterprise networks and cyber security * Comfortable taking ownership of security risk and operational incidents * Experience working with third-party suppliers and managed services * Able to balance hands-on technical understanding with leadership and stakeholder engagement This role would suit someone who enjoys improving environments, tightening controls, and making a tangible impact rather than inheriting a static setup.
