Mansfield Pediatric Therapy is a growing pediatric therapy practice dedicated to helping children reach their full potential. As a newer practice in the community, we have quickly built a reputation for high-quality, personalized care and are expanding to meet the increasing demand for our services. We are looking for a passionate and skilled pediatric speech therapist to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families!
We are searching for a dedicated speech language pathologist with a desire to work with the pediatric population in a quickly growing locally owned private practice. Primary settings include private practice as well as at local preschools and daycares. We are seeking a candidate who has general knowledge across the speech/language pathology scope of practice. Opportunities for training in speciality areas of dyslexia and/or feeding/swallowing available to candidates who are interested in this position and want to expand their skill set! The ideal candidate will collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans that support each child's unique needs.

*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing
* Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
* Provide direct in-person therapy services in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment
* Educate and coach parents and caregivers to support speech and language development at home
* Implement evidence-based and best practices
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
* Stay current with best practices and emerging research in speech-language pathology
* Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
* Provide individualized home-programming to assist with carry-over of skills
* Advocate for patients in educational and clinical settings
* Maintain up-to-date clinical records
* Participate in continuing education to stay current with advancements in speech and language pathology
*Qualifications & Skills*
* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, _required_
* Valid Ohio state licensure, _required_
* Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), _required_
* Clinical fellowship (CFY) applicants considered - please apply!
* Experience in working with the pediatric population preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong collaborative team member with flexibility and empathy for others
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language
* Experience in patient assessment and care, particularly in pediatric settings
* Familiarity with medical terminology and early intervention strategies
* Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills
* Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in using assessment tools and technology in speech therapy
* Sensitivity and compassion for working with individuals with communication disorders
* The ideal candidate will be a team player, self-motivated, flexible, effective communicator, prompt, and well organized
* Knowledge in the administration of standardized assessments/willingness to learn the following formal assessments: GFTA-3, CELF-P3, PLS-5, CELF-5, REEL-3, Rosseti, TOLD-P:5, TOLD-I:5
