Job Summary:
We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our busy distribution center located in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is essential to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. You will be responsible for selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment, ensuring quality and accuracy. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
  • Inspect picked items for damages and ensure correct quantities.
  • Package products securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate materials.
  • Label packages accurately with shipping information.
  • Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to move inventory.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety.
  • Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while on duty.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the logistics team by meeting performance goals.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional overtime.
