We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the integrity of our stock. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Enter inventory data into the warehouse management system (WMS) accurately.
- Track the movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Label and tag inventory items as required.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for efficiency and accessibility.
- Generate inventory reports as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency with computer systems, particularly warehouse management software (WMS).
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with Logistics and supply chain processes is beneficial.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and work in a warehouse environment.
- Willingness to adhere to all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
Contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of our Richmond Logistics operations.
