Our logistics facility in Boston, Massachusetts, is seeking motivated Picker/Packers to join our dedicated team. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in fulfilling customer orders by accurately locating and preparing items for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from inventory based on picking lists.
- Verify the accuracy and condition of picked items.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Apply correct labels and documentation to packages.
- Maintain an organized and efficient work area.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Perform occasional lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
- Support the seamless execution of our logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking and packing is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order instructions with precision.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capacity to work quickly and efficiently.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and manage necessary lifting.
- Awareness of safety protocols and the correct usage of PPE.
