You will play a key part in our supply chain by ensuring materials are properly stored, retrieved, and staged for shipment. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in material handling, a strong commitment to safety, and familiarity with warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Stack and store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and stability.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Apply correct lifting techniques to prevent injuries and ensure safe handling of goods.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting tasks.
- Identify and report damaged products or any hazards in the work area.
- Support shipping and receiving departments as needed to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain proficiency and safety standards.
