We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our facility in Washington, D.C. This role is vital for the maintenance and smooth operation of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure, directly supporting our logistics efficiency. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on various warehouse machinery, troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed, and conducting safety inspections. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems commonly found in warehouse environments. Your work will ensure that our material handling equipment, conveyor systems, and other machinery are in optimal working condition, minimizing downtime. A commitment to safety is paramount; you must strictly follow all safety procedures, use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and be vigilant about potential hazards. This role may involve moderate lifting and working in various warehouse conditions. The ideal candidate will possess relevant technical certifications or a proven track record in equipment maintenance within a logistics or industrial setting.
