Join our Project Delivery Group (PDG), a dynamic team of professionals passionate about delivering world‑class projects in mining, energy, and infrastructure. The Mississauga office seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead electrical engineering and design for large EPCM and small operations support projects.

• Lead a team of Electrical Engineers, Designers, and CAD personnel in the execution of electrical engineering and design for mining/mineral processing within budget and schedule.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance for the electrical team.
• Mentor engineers‑in‑training and designers.
• Prepare and check calculations as required.
• Prepare electrical equipment specification packages.
• Check vendor drawings and data for compliance with specifications.
• Prepare detailed design, supply, construction, and installation specifications.
• Develop conceptual designs, studies, reports, and proposals.
• Ensure effective communication within project teams and with client engineers.
• Track project metrics.
• Report to the Area Project Engineering Manager for project issues and to the overall Electrical Lead for functional issues.
• Visit project sites and other Hatch design offices as needed.

• Engineer with 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an EPCM environment for industrial projects in utilities and/or metals.
• Engineering degree and registered as a Professional Engineer with the P.E.O or another Canadian Professional Engineering Association.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of industry, regulatory codes and standards.
• Proficient with electrical design tools and software: SPEL, ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, and ASPEN.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
