About

Senior Project Manager – Critical Mass

Critical Mass is hiring an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead high‑impact digital campaigns in a fast‑paced agency environment. As the primary Project Manager on a major account, you will drive strategy, own end‑to‑end delivery, and make an immediate impact without a support net. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives under pressure, leads independently, and is energized by managing complex projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead campaign initiatives independently, managing execution and planning.
  • Manage end‑to‑end project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, reporting, and change management for fast‑paced digital campaigns.
  • Drive strategic conversations with discipline leads (creative, design, marketing science, engineering) to set approach, develop roadmaps, and align on objectives and strategies.
  • Operate in a dynamic, multitasking environment requiring agility to move fast, adapt quickly, and maintain focus on driving goals even under high‑pressure situations.
  • Develop and communicate project roadmaps and timelines while managing stakeholder expectations around scope, schedule, deliverables, and business outcomes.
  • Own financial stewardship, including budget management, revenue forecasting, and resource optimization to maximize campaign ROI.
  • Organize and structure complex activities with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • 4–6 years of agency and campaign management experience demonstrating proven capability to drive work forward independently; preferably a senior PM track record or strong multi‑hat experience.
  • Mastery of core Project Management fundamentals including schedule development, scope management, financial management, resource planning, and change management.
  • Advanced proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools such as MS Office, Smartsheet, Keynote, Outlook, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Demonstrated experience managing client conversations around scope, schedule, budget, and strategic roadmaps; ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Strategic mindset as an approach setter, capable of establishing processes, methodologies, and frameworks rather than solely executing within existing structures.
  • Strong leadership and decision‑making skills with excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and presentation abilities; demonstrated responsiveness to feedback.
  • Solutions‑oriented leadership with the ability to lead by example, solve complex problems, and empower discipline leads to execute effectively.
  • Experience managing dynamic, fast‑paced campaign environments with ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and deliver quality results under pressure.
What We Offer
  • Global maternity and parental leave.
  • Competitive benefits packages.
  • Vacation, compassionate leave, sick days, and flex days.
  • Access to online services for families and new parents.
  • Diversity and Inclusion Board with 12 affinity groups.
  • Internal learning and development programs.
  • Enterprise‑wide employee discounts.
