Business Development Manager- Cloud & Infrastructure

In this role, you will be resp onsible for generating new business, developing strong client relationships, and helping shape the go-to-market approach for our Cloud and Infrastructure offerings. Your ability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage with both business and technical stakeholders will be critical to success.
You have a solid understanding of IT services and are comfortable working closely with internal technical teams and external partners to drive results? This role is for you.
Responsibilities
- New Business Development
- Identify and purs ue new sales opportunities within the GTA
- Sales cycle ownership
- Build and leverage a local network to develop leads and contacts
- Attend relevant industry events and conferences to expand visibility
- Follow up on existing connections to uncover potential opportunities
- Understand client needs and translate them into tailored service offerings
- Lead the preparation of proposals and responses to RFPs
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop client-focused solutions
- Identify, develop an d maintain s trategi c partnerships
- Incorporate strategic partners where appropriate in sales efforts
Note that you will be expected to travel in connection to your employment.
Account
and client management
- Manage and nurture long-term client relationships
- Present new services and updates to existing clients
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure alignment post-sale
- Maintain a ccurate sales activity and pipeline information in CRM
- Provide regular updates and reports on business development progress
- Contribute to internal planning and forecasting discussions
Required
Skills an d Expe rience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in B2B sales in IT services, SAP, Cloud, or Infrastructure in the GTA
- Experience selling IT consulting services in the GTA
- Strong understanding of managed services for critical applications , ERP systems , DBA , public/private cloud, and ITIL or Agile methodologies
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Skilled in building and executing account plans
- Self-driven, client-focused, and results-oriented
- Fluent in English; French is considered an asset
