Responsibilities
  • Identify and implement new growth Vehicle Health Management (HUMS) and Avionics opportunities
  • Improve company’s market position and achieve financial growth
  • Define long‑term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, negotiate and close business deals, and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions
  • Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients
  • Manage an established Domestic and International Sales Representative & Distributor Channel Partner network
  • Work with internal sales and marketing staff, and other managers, to increase sales opportunities
  • Create opportunities for various business aspects, such as program cost reduction, customer relations, technological advancement and marketing
  • Develop concise and clear methodologies for controlling and managing business opportunities
  • Develop presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict clients’ future needs
  • Identify new markets and customers for new and existing products
  • Conduct hands‑on business development coaching on HUMS & Avionics
  • Attend association events, functions and conferences to gather information on industry‑related trends and provide feedback to senior managers
  • Network inside and outside the company to maintain complete familiarity with the HUMS/Avionics market and trends
  • Coordinate with On‑Board and Ground‑Based Product engineering departments on new opportunities requiring engineering and application development
  • Develop and maintain customer contacts at all levels
  • Facilitate communications between customer and various internal functions
  • Manage/track customer requests, associated priorities, and resulting pricing (V.O.C. Management)
  • Instrumental in identifying customer needs and changes over time
  • Translate business and product strategies into clear, tailored value proposition for specific customers
  • Participate in pricing the solution and/or service
  • Available for travel to perform all job requirements
  • Review design options with customers and/or consultants, contractors
Qualifications
  • Degree in business or related field preferred
  • In lieu of a business degree, two years of college and/or equivalent work experience may be considered
  • Experience in vibration analysis or mechanical engineering efforts directed towards aircraft maintenance of mechanical structures and assemblies
  • Minimum of 20 years “hands‑on” experience in the application of helicopter, fixed‑wing, and engine vibration analysis systems
  • Ability to identify near and long‑term business opportunities through market/segment analysis, value proposition and sales campaign
  • Develop intimate knowledge of health monitoring products, customers, and competition
  • Build internal and external customer relationships
  • Establish strong working relationship with business leader/ marketing leader, finance, and engineering teams
  • Provide “world‑class” responsiveness to customers
  • Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License
  • Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position
  • Experience with all current and legacy vibration balancers/ spectrum analyzers/ HUMS (Chadwick‑Helmuth, G.E. RADS‑AT, IAC, Honeywell, Goodrich)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently

  • Experience in helicopters and technical knowledge in Rotor Track & Balance and vibration diagnostics—a strong plus

  • Microsoft Office proficiency
