Pay: $91,200 - $136,800 CAD
We are building a world‑class, diverse and inclusive technology team dedicated to supporting the Treasury and Balance Sheet Management department. The role is part of the Treasury Analytics Group (TAG) within the Intraday Liquidity Technology team.
About This RoleThe Manager, Business Systems Analyst will lead the team the strategic bank‑wide real‑time intraday liquidity platform. The platform will measure expected gross liquidity inflows and outflows, anticipate timing, forecast potential net funding shortfalls, and monitor intraday liquidity positions against available resources.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of Business Systems Analysts to gather business and data requirements, develop data models, ETL, business rules, and reporting.
- Participate in data analysis and testing across multiple environments on various technology platforms.
- Transform business requirements into effective delivery solutions; research, analyze issues, and recommend business process improvements.
- Define and document high‑level business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Review technical deliverables for quality during design and development; identify gaps and recommend redesign.
- Define metrics and performance goals with technology partners.
- Minimize cost and support cost effectiveness while enhancing stakeholder experience.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting application integrity.
- Take ownership and act proactively to achieve results and build strong relationships.
- Manage and lead a business systems analysis team, ensuring projects meet milestones and stay on schedule.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders, develop performance measures, and manage escalated issues.
- Oversee documentation and deliverables, applying best practices in methodology and tools.
- Communicate scope changes, resource needs, and risk impacts to the project management team.
- Facilitate lessons learned, industry trend insights, and promote awareness of business analysis standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or Technical Certificate; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in banking, trade messaging, and treasury operations.
- Strong knowledge of payment lifecycle, SWIFT, and capital market asset classes.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling (ERD, dimensional), and data transformation.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Leadership experience managing teams and driving project delivery.
- Advanced knowledge of business analysis principles and project lifecycles.
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks across projects.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
