Job Summary:
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading of liquid products into trucks and railcars for shipment to customers, as well as performing site rail shunting activities. You will collaborate within the Loading departments and across other functional areas.
Job Description:
What you'll do:
- Support and participate in all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and activities
- Learn and perform all truck and rail loading and rail shunting activities
- Complete pre and post truck and railcar inspections and documentation
- Complete lab testing for Certificate of Quality reports for specific products
- Coordinate with shipping to place inbound railcars and build outbound trains for CN
- Complete Locomotive Operator Certification and Industrial Rail Safety Training
- Be an active member of the Plant Emergency Response Team
- Comply with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements for each task
- Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Responsible for proper daily housekeeping in respective work areas
- Complete computer-based learning modules and assigned training within timelines
- Complete all required training to achieve fully qualified status within the Loading Technician Proficiency Program
- Commitment to safety as the embodiment of corporate culture, responsibility and accountability
- Must have completed a minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Truck loading or rail loading/shunting experience will be considered an asset
- Must be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, as well as overtime as required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- CF Industries (Terra International Canada Inc.) is deemed a safety-sensitive manufacturing site. Applicants considered for hire must successfully pass our pre-employment screening process, which includes: Criminal Background check, pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing, Drivers Abstract, Employment References, and Education verification.
Estimated Base Hourly Rate: $37.90 - $56.55/hour
The actual base hourly rate is dependent upon various factors such as education/certifications, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, scope of the role, and location. The estimated base hourly rate shown does not factor in any applicable premiums.
