DSP ( Direct Support Professional)

1. To maintain clear, accurate, and detailed documentation of all supports and services provided.

Position Requirements

Be There Home Care provides and pays for all required training. The requirements to be a certified DSP are:

1. Minimum age of 18 years.

2. Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history background check, with required annual

renewal.

1. Current and maintained certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED.

2. Completion of all required DSP core competencies (Tier 1 & Tier 2).

3. Oregon Intervention System (OIS) certification (required for supporting individuals with a Positive

Behavior Support Plan - PBSP).

1. Valid Driver's License (required if client transportation is part of the role).

Be There Home Care LLC pays a training rate equal to minimum wage for all initial training. Minimum wage

remains in effect until the employee is eligible to work as a certified DSP.

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour
