We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and will possess a comprehensive understanding of dental procedures and practices. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient satisfaction while working collaboratively with our team to deliver quality dental services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Conduct various dental procedures including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic dentistry.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices.
  • Educate patients on oral health, hygiene, and preventive care.
  • Manage medical imaging processes for accurate diagnostics.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment through strict infection control protocols.

Skills

  • Proficient in medical documentation practices and maintaining medical records.
  • Experience with Open Dental or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
  • Excellent patient care skills with a focus on providing a comfortable experience for patients.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership qualities.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.

What We're Looking For:

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited institution
  • Current and valid state dental license
  • Solid knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Experience with infection control best practices in a clinical setting
  • Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality car
  • Familiarity with dental lab and fabrication processes is a plus
