Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct various dental procedures including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic dentistry.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices.
- Educate patients on oral health, hygiene, and preventive care.
- Manage medical imaging processes for accurate diagnostics.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment through strict infection control protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in medical documentation practices and maintaining medical records.
- Experience with Open Dental or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on providing a comfortable experience for patients.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership qualities.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
What We're Looking For:
- DDS or DMD from an accredited institution
- Current and valid state dental license
- Solid knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Experience with infection control best practices in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality car
- Familiarity with dental lab and fabrication processes is a plus
