Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior MuleSoft Developer
to join our team and lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise integrations. - The ideal candidate will have deep expertise with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, strong API development skills, and the ability to drive best practices across integration projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement integrations and APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Design Center, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange).
- Create reusable, scalable, and secure Mule applications following API-led connectivity patterns (System, Process, Experience APIs).
- Develop and maintain RAML/OAS specifications and ensure strong API governance and lifecycle management.
- Build complex DataWeave transformations for various data formats (XML, JSON, CSV, fixed-width, etc.).
- Integrate with REST and SOAP web services, databases, SaaS applications, and legacy systems.
- Implement automated testing using MUnit to ensure high code quality and maintainability.
- Participate in DevOps activities, supporting CI/CD pipelines using Maven and Git (GitHub/Bitbucket).
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and secrets management.
- Troubleshoot and optimize Mule applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior developers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience, including Mule 4.
- Deep experience with the full
MuleSoft Anypoint Platform: Design Center, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange. - Strong expertise in DataWeave and complex data transformation logic.
- Proficiency in API design using RAML or OAS, and expert understanding of REST and SOAP services.
- Solid understanding of API-led connectivity architecture (System, Process, Experience layers).
- Hands-on experience with MUnit for unit testing and coverage validation.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps tools, including Maven, Git, GitHub/Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong grasp of security protocols such as OAuth2, SAML, OIDC.
- Experience integrating with cloud platforms, databases, and enterprise systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and attention to detail.
