Childcare Program Director

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Program Director to lead the planning, administration, and daily operations of our childcare program. The Director will provide visionary leadership to ensure a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children, while maintaining compliance with all licensing, regulatory, and organizational standards. This role requires a strong commitment to early childhood education, staff development, family engagement, and program excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Consistent collaboration with lead preschool teachers to support direct and indirect preschool services and instruction.
• Program Management and Accountability
• Coordinate Professional Development
• Oversee daily learning opportunities and ensure activities and routines are adhered to
• Communicate with building principals about preschool successes and concerns.
• Communicate with building principals about before/after care successes and concerns.
• Collaborate with lead preschool teachers to facilitate communication with parents when there are developmental concerns.
• Oversee weekly parent communication
• Collaborates with principal to ensure staffing is adequate for safety and student growth
• Provide payroll administration
• Oversee the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)

Education/requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, child development, or related field of study.
• or; CDA Certificate with relevant experience
• Minimum of 3 year experience leading in age groups Infants- Pre-K
• Experience with CACFP
