About
Project Managers are responsible for the overall execution of the automatic temperature control/building automation system installation.
Duties include the following:
- Review of mechanical, electrical, architectural, plumbing and fire alarm project plans, specifications, vendor equipment submittals, in-house submittal documents, estimates and proposals.
- Project coordination with client, architect, engineer, construction manager and all contractors.
- Scheduling of installation labor and acquisition of all materials.
- Screening of subcontractors and awards of subcontracts.
- Job-site walk-throughs and coordination meetings.
- Progress billing, schedule of values, RFI's.
- Overseeing system commissioning and validation.
- Owner training, system turnover and project closeout.
Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience in project management of HVAC systems with an emphasis on ATC/BAS system projects.
