We seek an energetic and experienced 9th & 10th-grade Spanish teacher to join our high school team today As a Teacher, you will lead a class of students through a successful school year, creating and implementing a comprehensive educational curriculum. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and passionate about teaching
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons that align with TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) standards.
Create a classroom culture of high expectations, academic rigor, and respect.
Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to support diverse learners.
Assess student progress regularly using formative and summative assessments.
Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and communication.
Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.
Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school events.
Enforce school policies and procedures to maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Texas Teacher Certification in Spanish (Grades 6–12 or EC–12) – required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Demonstrated ability to teach Spanish at the high school level
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred but not required
